How do I cancel or change a reservation?
Plans change. Cancelling early is genuinely helpful — the moment you cancel, your time opens up for someone else.
Where to cancel
- From your confirmation email — it carries a link straight to your reservation.
- From your ezerve account — if you have one, every reservation is listed with a cancel action.
If you can't find either, contact the business directly — they can cancel from their side.
What happens when you cancel
The reservation is marked cancelled and every held asset — the chair, the boat, the guide's time — is released immediately. The cancellation is confirmed to you by email, and the business sees it on their calendar right away.
Cancellation deadlines
Each business sets its own cancellation policy on what you book — a "cancel by" deadline such as 24 hours before the start. The policy is shown before you confirm, so there are no surprises. Inside the deadline, the booking page won't offer self-serve cancellation; reach out to the business and ask.
Changing a time
Today, changing a reservation means cancelling and rebooking at the new time — two taps, but honest ones: your new time is confirmed with the same can't-double-book guarantee as any booking. A proper one-step reschedule is on the roadmap.
If you miss a reservation
If you don't show up, the reservation simply completes without you, and the business's own policy (if any) applies. Businesses on ezerve see reliable calendars precisely because cancelled time goes back on the market — so when you can't make it, cancel. It's two taps and someone else gets the slot.
